Figure Caption: The Fourier spectrum of the local density of states around a nonmagnetic impurity in a high-Tc superconductor, where the electrons are coupled to the 41 meV collective mode. The energy is chosen to be the superconducting gap plus the mode energy. The strongest intensity occurs in the Brillouin zone for wave vector (π/a,π/a). This collective mode should be observable with the scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) in addition to neutron scattering. For more information see our e-print
